APPLIED WORK
I work with artists, galleries, and small creative organizations on websites, printed matter, and visual systems — with particular care for portfolio sites that look and function beautifully.
Much of this work involves shaping how projects are made public and sustained over time. Recent projects use flexible, contemporary publishing systems designed to be durable, fast, and maintainable without ongoing platform fees. I work collaboratively and care about getting details right.
My approach is informed by my background and life as an artist.
WAYS I COMMONLY WORK
PRACTICE
My studio practice uses photographic materials and ideas — though it’s rarely straight photography — and often circles around decision-making, failure, and what gets left out. The work moves between images, objects, and systems of display, shaped as much by process as by outcome.
My work has been shown in California, New York, Mexico, and England. I’ve curated recent exhibitions at Bass & Reiner Gallery (San Francisco) and the Bolinas Museum.
TEACHING
I’m currently an adjunct professor at California College of the Arts, and have previously taught at SFAI, UC Davis, and San José State, focusing on visual literacy and how ideas translate across media.
